There are many fun and creative ways to make learning about the Bible interactive and meaningful! As both a parent and Religious Education teacher, I’m always looking for new ways to teach kids about faith. I recently found several Bible games that make learning fun for children and less overwhelming for adults. Give these Bible games a try and see how they can bring faith to life for the kids in your life.
Here’s FaithyFamily’s List of Bible Games for Kids:
1. Operation Noah’s Ark Bible Games Edition
Operation Noah’s Ark is based on the classic game of “Operation”. In this version, players help Noah gather animals to board the ark and try to avoid a thunderbolt. In the original version of Operation released by Milton Bradley (now Hasbro), the object was to “operate” on a cartoon patient named Cavity Sam. Players had to remove various plastic body parts using metal tweezers without touching the metal edge. If the tweezers touched the edge Cavity Sam’s nose would light up red and a buzzer would go off. In Operation Noah’s Ark players need to remove small figures of the animals without setting off the thunderbolt.
Before beginning Operation Noah’s Ark, you can read the Bible story of Noah’s Ark aloud and discuss as you go.

2. Guess Bible Who I Am Game
The “Guess Bible Who I Am Game” is similar to the game “Guess Who” that was originally released by Milton Bradley (now Hasbro). In Milton’s Bradley’s version the goal of the game was to be the first to correctly guess the mystery character chosen by your opponent. In this Garybank Guess Bible Who I Am Board Game the goal is to correctly guess the mystery Bible character chosen by your opponent. The game uses 24 classic Bible characters such as Jesus, Adam, Eve, Mary and many others. It also comes with 24 corresponding cards that tell their life stories.
This Bible game is recommended for ages 6 & up and will encourage thoughtful conversation, questions and will introduce kids to important people from the Bible.

3. Armor of God Memory Matching Game
The Armor of God memory game for kids helps kids learn what each piece of God’s armor means and how we can put it into our daily lives. In Ephesians 6:10–18, St. Paul talks about the Armor of God and reminds us to “put on” this armor each day. It’s what helps us stay faithful, resist temptation, and face spiritual challenges with courage and strength. It reminds us that God gives us everything we need to protect our hearts and minds and live with faith and courage.
This game has 72 beautifully illustrated cards with Armor of God themes. As kids play, they’ll strengthen their memory and be inspired to pray for God’s protection.

This is a fun Bible activity for kids where you build a peaceful, inspiring scene together. The scene has Jesus with a halo, a cross and mini figurines. This building set is similar to Legos, as children follow step-by-step instructions to complete their creations. As a result, working on this “faith building” activity together will help kids develop other skills such as fine motor and spatial awareness. It also encourages creativity and conversation about God’s love. Since the set includes small pieces, it isn’t recommended for very young children.
